me, myself & us…

for me, growing up in a small town in northern alberta, i never really knew what i wanted to be when i grew up.  i’d always had a knack for photography, winning competitions at our local fair year after year.  later, after being married to the most amazing man for 7 years, and having 3 kids in 4 years, i decided life was too precious and short to just pass me by.  it was time to do what i knew i was good at – working with people and running a camera.  i started my own business with capturing in mind.  i wanted to capture the beauty of our world and the people in it, freezing life’s most precious moments in time.  i’ve taken God as my partner and my only prayer is that people would love and cherish my work as i capture their most memorable moments.  one year after starting my business i recruited my best friend and husband to help me be more effective and efficient at running my business.  i soon realized he was more than just a lending hand but an amazing photographer as well.  together we have become a strong team of photographers and love working together.

Oh my sweet sweet niece and crazy little nephew…what a beautiful family and I’m so priviledged to be able to photography them! Just a little taste of more to come.
